At 27 I was a bit "elderly" to be a true Beatles cohort/fan in 1964. I was still stuck on The Kingston Trio. (Dave Gard started singing in a beer garden near where we were both college students at the time.) Subsequently, however, I became a Beatles fan, no longer aged-out as time went on for us all.
